Annual Early Times Chapter car show, 2004 In 2004 the Early Times Chapter again held a “car show within a car show” during the National Convention in Joplin, Missouri. The show is open to all chapter members showing a 1926 to 1954 Pontiac in the stock classes. Chapter members showed some incredible cars in both the popular vote show and the points judged show with a dozen cars shown by Early Times members, and these were the top three as selected by the chapter officers. Each of the winners this year received a beautiful silver serving dish engraved to commemorate the occasion. This year we saw new winners, and taking home the third place honors was Roger Bain of Lawrence, Kansas showing a ‘37 four-door sedan. |
In second place we had Marjo Prinzig from North Muskegon, Michigan with her ’54 Chieftain Woody Station Wagon. |
And that takes us to first place where a ’48 convertible brought to the show by Maurice Wright from Houghton, Louisiana. He got the largest of the serving dishes as a reward for his efforts. |
We will again be hosting a “car show within a car show” for our members at the 2005 POCI National Convention in Greenville, South Carolina. To become a member of the Early Times Chapter use the Membership Application. Membership also gets you our famous monthly newsletter, the ETCetera. David Luken, President, Early Times Chapter |
